SHRI. SHYAM SUNDER MADANLAL KHANDELWAL
Shri. Shyam Sunder Madanlal Khandelwal worked in a private group from 1955 to 1970 at Kolkata. Thereafter in 1970 joined m/s. Indian Tool Manufacturers Ltd, as senior executive. He joined in the company as a finance executive thereafter promoted to chief finance executive and company secretary and thereafter executive vice president. He was looking after finance, accounts, taxation and secretarial and company law matters. He was directly reporting to the president of the company and to Shri Ashok V. Birla and board of directors. He was dealing with department of the company affaires and mrtp matters of the company. Two new factories were started by the company one at Nashik during 1971-72 and another factory at Aurangabad during 1973-74. Total work of govt. approvals, legal matters and financial agreements from ICICI and SICOM was under him. He was in contact with Mr.K.V.Kamath (technical) and Mr. N.C.Singhal (commercial) for foreign exchange loan. He was also having personal contact with Shri H.T.Parikh & Shri S.S.Nadkarni of ICICI. During seventies personally, under his total supervision a textile plant at Khamgaon and a carpet manufacturing plant at Gaziabad was also started.
He was also a partner of m/s. S.V.Rubber Industries from 1974 to 1982 cycle & rickshaw tubes & tyres and other rubber products under the brand name of chancellor, were produced in the said firm. He was also connected in day-to-day affairs of the said firm during that period and gained a good experience in this line.
During the year 1989 a new company m/s. Hartex Tubes Pvt. Ltd. at Nagpur was started for manufacturing of cycle tubes and he was promoter/director of the said company.
The said unit was still running successfully since last 20 years under his total control. The production/turnover of the said company was more than 40 crores during the year 2009-10 with satisfactory profitability. I retired from m/s. Hartex Tubes Pvt. Ltd. from oct’2010.
A new company in the name of m/s. Madan Udyog Pvt. Ltd. at Musalgaon, Nashik has been started and he is one of the promoter director. He also has extensive experience of more than three decades in rubber manufacturing industry. The unit has started production of cycle moulded tubes & jointed tubes from dec’2010. The plant is having a capacity of 30000 pcs. jointed tubes & 10000 pcs. moulded tubes per day i.e. 10 lacs per month and 120 lacs per year. The plant was started in a record period of six months. The production of the unit is increasing gradually. This is a ISO Certified company.
